THE MEDITATION TOOL

HOW TO INCORPORATE IT INTO YOUR LIFE

Meditating can take many forms. For some, it can be sitting on a cushion with eyes closed. For others, it can be walking mindfully with eyes open. It doesn’t have to feel like a mind without thoughts. In fact, witnessing our thoughts and emotions is part of it. Mindfulness meditation is done simply by paying attention to how we feel, what we sense, and our state of mind… just as it is, without judgement.

Meditating is like training a muscle. The more you do it, the stronger and easier it gets.

Below you will find a walking meditation exercise and three guided meditation practices from BMB Board Member Pierre Zimmerman, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher, Buddhist Chaplain, and owner of One Roof Meditation Center.
